Red Radiology in collaboration with Siemens, the Brisbane Broncos and the University of Queensland are conducting an MRI study focused on reducing the subjectivity in the diagnosis of sports-related concussion. With over 100 participants from a variety of contact sports the study shows great promise in addressing one of the biggest issues in sport today.

Participants are still sought for the study. Participants must be over 18 years of age, able to have MRI scans and participating in sports which have a higher likelihood of concussion occurring. Participation initially involves a minimum of two MRI scans of the head over a 12 month period. There is no cost to participants for their involvement.
